I haven't used this product from them before but I'm always up for trying anything new. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to cleansers as I know what I like. I like foaming, gentle, non abrasive, non perfumed bubbles. This wasn't it.
It did leave my skin feeling very soft and clean though. I originally decided on Herbalism (I was given a choice of which products I got to take) as my skin hasn't adjusted well to Italy and keeps breaking out. I am guessing it is something to do with the changes in food and sugar. I was desperate for something, anything to help me get it under control again. So I have to say, it really did work for that. I did combine it with a mask for the same problems.
Herbalism is made with 100% natural ingredients which is possibly why it felt different on my skin. The ingredients include almonds, chamomile, nettle and rosemary. Chamomile is great for calming the skin while almonds prove a gentle exfoliant. Nettle (despite what you would think) is calming and antibacterial which helps with spots. It works best with oily, break out prone skin which is what mine has become lately!
I would suggest mixing a small lump of this with water then making it into a paste and rubbing this into the pores.
You'll like it if - You like vegan, healthy, natural cosmetics and would prefer something without a strong smell. If you prefer no foaming and something that helps to control blemishes then this is the one for you.
You'll dislike it if - If you prefer a perfumed skincare product that foams, something that is sold in a tub rather then a squeezy tube as some people do, if you prefer a heavier bead of exfoliant, something more liquid rather then paste or bits.
