From her relaxed Australian tour tendrils to her radiant pregnancy glow and the gradual evolution of her signature up-do, as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, celebrates her 38th birthday, we look back at her best beauty looks of the year. 1. Sleek ballerina bunDetails, details, it's all about the details. In one her most recent public appearances, attending the movie premiere of The Lion King in London, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, stunned onlookers with her simplistic sheer black gown and formal up-do. Her low, sleek bun marks a grown-up shift that hits the right note of regal and contemporary. Here, her volumous, soft wavy up-do softens her face giving her look a relaxed approachable vibe that's perfect for public duties. The cheekbone highlighter trick Meghan's iridescent cheeks and temples cleverly offset her asymmetric hat like a piece of jewellery, making her cheekbones an accessory in their own right. Here, Meghan's soft pink nude lip compliments her bronzed cheeks and soft brown smoky eyes in a fresh modern way. Get the look: When choosing nude, anything with a hint of pink will bring out the colour of your cheeks and boost the whiteness of your teeth. Ultra radiance Who could forget this blue dress moment? Arriving at a state dinner in Fiji, the Duchess shone in radiant make-up that set off her glittering earrings. No statement lip or eye here, all the emphasis was placed on her warm coppery skin created with dewy light-reflecting textures that highlight her freckles. Making raspberry lips work for day Attending a reception attended by the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Meghan opted for a bright raspberry lipstick which gives an element of elegance and importance to her look. To ensure it doesn't look old fashioned, she keeps it fresh by teaming her bright lips with loose waves and natural eye make-up.
