Margot Robbie made a case for simplicity at a photo call yesterday as she promoted Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The actress wore an ankle-length cream dress with a matching sleeved top and skinny white sandals.

The look was slightly oversized and tucked in at her waist with a matching white belt by American designer Derek Lam. She added some serious glamour to the ensemble with a some old Hollywood waves.

The actress was promoting her latest movie, which is directed by Quentin Tarantino and stars Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. In it, she plays Sharon Tate, the late actress who was murdered by the Manson family in 1969.

The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was met with plenty of rave reviews, although has been criticised for Robbie's lack of lines in the movie. Although the director "rejected" this criticism, Robbie said she thought that her lack of lines actually made it a more interesting character to play.

"I think the tragedy was the loss of innocence," she told reporters. "To show the wonderful sides of her could be done without speaking. I did feel like I got a lot of time to explore the character without dialogue, which is an interesting thing. Rarely do I get an opportunity to spend so much time on my own as a character."

Yesterday, her co-star Pitt joined her at the event and was clearly having a lot of fun as he larked around in front of the cameras, photo-bombing Robbie as she posed.

Rob Lowe's wife Sheryl designs luxe jewelry collection inspired by her husband and sons - Daily Mail

Posted: 20 Jun 2019 12:00 AM PDT

Sheryl Lowe has been a successful women's jewelry designer for over a decade, and married to veteran actor Rob Lowe for almost 29 years.

Inspired by her famous husband and two sons, John Owen and Matthew, Sheryl created Mr. LOWE.

'Rob continually stole his favorite pieces from my personal collection,' Sheryl told Daily Mail. 'So after focusing my designs on women's for nearly a dozen years, it only made sense for me to design a men's collection.'

'Everyday my husband Rob, and my two sons inspire me,' said Sheryl. I created Mr. LOWE for the different types of men they personify - the outdoorsman, adventure seeker, traveler, artist and corporate cool guy.'

Like the women's collection that has garnered an impressive celeb following that includes Gwen Stefani, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Oprah Winfrey, the line is handmade in California.

It consists of necklaces, rings, pendants and bracelets made from precious metals and the finest stones sourced from all over the world.

Pieces are casual but with a super-luxe sensibility, making them perfect for every day wear. Prices range from $200- $2,450.

'My signature style comes through Mr. LOWE with its stackable layers, creating a classic-meets-edgy look.

'I love the balance of mixing metals and gemstones with natural wood, earthy African designs and shell beads, for both my men's and women's collections.'

Good news, ladies! While Mr. LOWE was designed for the guys, gals can wear it, too.

'It's the right balance of masculinity for the woman that doesn't love delicate jewelry,' explains Sheryl.

'The pave diamond ID bracelet is a Sheryl Lowe signature and has garnered a lot of attention when we introduced a version of it into the Mr. LOWE collection.'

But Sheryl tells Daily Mail that Rob's favorite includes a ring with an embedded triangle, representing past, present and future.

An advocate of paying it forward, part of the Sheryl Lowe business model has always included philanthropy.

Currently, a portion of the brand's proceeds are donated to support The Women's Alzheimers Movement.
