Margot Robbie keeps it classic in top-to-toe white ensemble - harpersbazaar.com Posted: 12 Jul 2019 12:00 AM PDT Kevork DjansezianGetty Images Margot Robbie made a case for simplicity at a photo call yesterday as she promoted Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. The actress wore an ankle-length cream dress with a matching sleeved top and skinny white sandals. The look was slightly oversized and tucked in at her waist with a matching white belt by American designer Derek Lam. She added some serious glamour to the ensemble with a some old Hollywood waves. The actress was promoting her latest movie, which is directed by Quentin Tarantino and stars Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio. In it, she plays Sharon Tate, the late actress who was murdered by the Manson family in 1969. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was met with plenty of rave reviews, although has been criticised for Robbie's lack of lines in the movie. Although the director "rejected" this criticism, Robbie said she thought that her lack of lines actually made it a more interesting character to play. "I think the tragedy was the loss of innocence," she told reporters. "To show the wonderful sides of her could be done without speaking. I did feel like I got a lot of time to explore the character without dialogue, which is an interesting thing. Rarely do I get an opportunity to spend so much time on my own as a character." Yesterday, her co-star Pitt joined her at the event and was clearly having a lot of fun as he larked around in front of the cameras, photo-bombing Robbie as she posed. But Sheryl tells Daily Mail that Rob's favorite includes a ring with an embedded triangle, representing past, present and future.
